English Fords have been in our family since 1965, when my father bought his first one, a '61 Anglia 105E.
Through
the years we've owned various models of Anglias, Cortinas and a Zephyr.
Some were disassembled for parts while others were rebuilt or restored.
At the present we own 4 Anglia 105Es (including a 1962 Estate) one 1970
Cortina MKII GT, and a 1960 Zephyr.
In 2008 we acquired a 1966 Cortina GT 4D from the original owner. He ordered the car from Gill Hile
Lincoln
/ Mercury dealership in San Bruno, California. Under the "Tour Europe
plan" one can select a new English Ford in North America and take
delivery in designated cities across Europe. 
So
Virgil and his family took delivery of his new Cortina in the summer of
1966 while vacationing in Great Britian. Delivered Price: "All in"
delivered price covers a car registered with British number plates and
with gas ready to drive away. For deliveries in Great Britian, four
months license fee is included and Purchase Tax exemption arranged for
you. Heater is standard equipment". Total price: $1859.00
